About Us
With the support of her family, Dolores Banuelos created The Cupcake Route bakery in 2018 as a certified kitchen cottage in the Southern San Joaquin Valley of California. The addition of the mobile cupcake truck and the popularity of the gourmet cupcakes grew her social media platforms beyond Fresno, Kings, and Tulare Counties within a matter of months.
Dolores credits the support from other women as a critical factor of success. Her drive for creativity and hard work comes from being a stay-at-home mom of four kids. Though she is not a stranger to the business world, Dolores sold her first successful bakery (established in 2012) in Modesto before moving to Hanford, California.
Dolores' vision led her to open her shop inside the Hanford Mall in 2019, yet keeping the excitement of taking the cupcake truck to various locations throughout the three counties. She continues to dedicate time for her kids, but now as their formal employer. Together, and with the support of an expanded cupcake team, The Cupcake Route is committed to "baking the world a better placeโ.
